At Petal & Pride Botanicals, many of our offerings are handcrafted in small ritual batches using botanical infusions, slow preparation methods, and made-to-order production processes. Because of this, some products may be available via preorder or back-order when demand exceeds current stock availability.

We believe in being transparent about timelines so you can make informed purchasing decisions before placing an order.

What Is a Pre-Order?

A preorder allows you to reserve an item before it is physically available or before the next production batch has been completed.

Preorders are typically offered for:

new launches
seasonal ritual collections
limited botanical batches
high-demand products awaiting production

Estimated dispatch timeframes for preorder items will always be listed on the product page.

What Is a Back-Order?

Once preorder allocation has sold out, products may move into back-order status.

A back-order means:

the item is temporarily out of stock
your order secures a place in the next production batch
the product is still being handcrafted and prepared

Because our botanical infusions and made-to-order production process require time, back-order items generally have a dispatch timeframe of:

1–2 weeks

This timeframe may vary slightly during:

collection launches
holiday periods
high-volume sales events
ingredient sourcing delays
unforeseen production delays

Handcrafted & Made-to-Order Nature

Many Petal & Pride Botanicals products are:

handcrafted in small batches
infused over time for potency and quality
blended, poured, and prepared to order

This slower production approach is intentional and forms part of our commitment to freshness, ritual craftsmanship, and product integrity.

By purchasing preorder or back-order items, you acknowledge and accept these preparation timeframes.

Combined Orders

If your order contains both:

in-stock items
AND
preorder/back-order items

your order may be shipped together once all items are ready.

If you would like available items dispatched sooner, you may need to place separate orders.

Shipping Estimates

Dispatch estimates refer to the time required for preparation and packing before shipment.

Shipping carrier delivery times are additional and may vary depending on:

your location
postal carrier delays
peak shipping periods

Cancellations & Order Changes

Because preorder and back-order items are prepared specifically for upcoming production batches:

cancellations or order changes may not always be possible once production has commenced
requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

consumers may be entitled to remedies where products are not supplied within the promised timeframe or within a reasonable time

Petal & Pride Botanicals aims to provide accurate production and dispatch estimates at all times. However, occasional delays may occur due to the handcrafted nature of our products and circumstances outside of our control.
